A Brief Lesson for the Press on Vaccine Injury

While in Columbus, OH, educating legislators on the balance of the science, I witnessed a reporter interview a mom of a vaccine injured child.  The mom no longer consents to vaccination for her daughter because, as she said, if she had continued to vaccinate her daughter would most likely not be here.

The reporter seemed to struggle forming one question.  The cognitive disequilibrium was obvious. After explaining  the history of events that led to her daughter’s eventual diagnosis, and being told that a functional neurologist has determined that the vaccine did, in fact, cause her injury, the reported asked:

“And what do you say to people who say you are putting children who cannot vaccinate in harm’s way?”

The mom answered the question gracefully: she said she does not tell anyone else to not vaccinate, that other parents have the choice to vaccinate, and so on.

But here’s the rub: the reporter ignored the fact that her own daughter is in the population that people think they are protecting.

Is it me, or is society clueless that the vaccine injured are among those who cannot vaccinate?

Parents of vaccine injured children or of children killed by vaccines should never be asked to promote to support a pharmaceutical product that has injured or killed their child.

Period.

Full stop.

Carry on.

  1. The argument about “protecting society” is all they can say and all they do say. It must have been beaten into their brains as their comeback no matter what the story they are hearing!

  2. Thank you. I get so much hate… really evil comments about how they think my children should die from a horrible disease or that my children should be taken away from me or that we should be forced to live in some kind of permanent quarantine. They don’t even hear how absurd they are. They claim to be protecting those who can’t vaccinate but then they say these horrible evil things about wishing we were dead? Hello….are there any braincells up there? Those who can’t vaccinate are apart of the unvaccinated group!!

  3. I wish she’d answered ‘protect children who cannot be vaccinated? You mean children like my daughter?’

  4. “And what do you say to people who say you are putting children who cannot vaccinate in harm’s way?”
I would say this: vaccinated people are contagious and the following institutions and researchers say this:
St. Judes Children’s Hospital Inpatient Visitors Guidelines
If they have received the oral polio or smallpox vaccine within 4 weeks; or
If they have rashes after receiving the chickenpox (varicella) vaccine.
Please follow all posted guidelines for using masks, gowns, and gloves.
John Hopkins Hospital had similar guidelines but removed them and changed the language when they realized they were admitting that live virus vaccine shed. Their Inpatient Guidelines in 2008 stated the following:
In the- Can I Have Visitors section:
Tell friends and family who are sick, or have recently receive had a live virus vaccine (such as chicken pox, measles, rubella, intranasal influenza, polio or smallpox) not to visit. It may be a good idea to have visitors call first. Avoid children who were recently vaccinated.
John Hopkins changed the language of their visitors guidelines in 2015 to be in compliance with the pharma cartel & the CDC myth that live virus vaccine don’t shed. They now say the previous guidelines was not for the anti-vac people to basically use in their movement which demonstrates vaccinated people are contagious. They state anyone can visit immunocompromised patients putting profits above people.
I would direct them to the following studies:
-Outbreak of Measles Among Persons With Prior Evidence of Immunity, New York City, 2011 http://cid.oxfordjournals.org/content/early/2014/02/27/cid.ciu105
-Acellular pertussis vaccines protect against disease but fail to prevent infection and transmission in a nonhuman primate mode http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3063653/.
Supporting this would be the alert letter the FDA sent to saying the Pertussis vaccine doesn’t work and was causing outbreaks of Pertussis:
    FDA NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: Nov. 27, 2013
FDA study helps provide an understanding of rising rates of whooping cough and response to vaccination
This research suggests that although individuals immunized with an acellular pertussis vaccine may be protected from disease, they may still become infected with the bacteria without always getting sick and are able to spread infection to others, including young infants who are susceptible to pertussis disease.

-The Disney Measles outbreak occurred mostly in adults that had been vaccinated (vaccine are suppose to give life long immunity) and a study confirms that the MSM hasn’t reported on:
Journal of Clinical Microbiology, entitled, “Rapid Identification of Measles Virus Vaccine Genotype by Real-Time PCR,”
During the measles outbreak in California in 2015, a large number of suspected cases occurred in recent vaccinees (3). Of the 194 measles virus sequences obtained in the United States in 2015, 73 were identified as vaccine sequences (R. J. McNall, unpublished data). That’s 38%.
Supporting studies to confirm that the MMR is ineffective is are the following studies:
-Arch Intern Med. 1994 Aug 22;154(16):1815-20.
Failure to reach the goal of measles elimination. Apparent paradox of measles infections in immunized persons.
    Poland GA1, Jacobson RM.
Conclusion: The apparent paradox is that as measles immunization rates rise to high levels in a population, measles becomes a disease of immunized persons.
-Paper: The Re-Emergence of Measles in Developed Countries: Time to Develop the Next-Generation Measles Vaccines?
“The measles vaccine has failed,” he explained two years ago in a prescient paper, “The re-emergence of measles in developed countries.” In that paper, he warned that due to factors that most haven’t noticed, measles has come back to be a serious public health threat. Poland sees the need for a major rethink, after concluding that the current measles vaccine is unlikely to ever live up to the job expected of it: “outbreaks are occurring even in highly developed countries where vaccine access, public health infrastructure, and health literacy are not significant issues. This is unexpected and a worrisome harbinger — measles outbreaks are occurring where they are least expected,”
Dr. Gregory Poland is Professor of Medicine and founder and leader of Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group. Poland is one of the world’s most admired, most advanced thinkers in the field of vaccinology.

I would speak like Dr. Toni Bark did in an interview when a reported at a conference hit her with the same question about children who can’t get vaccinated. She mentioned many of the above info I posted and did not let the reported continue asking questions-she just kept on talking. All the woman could do at the end of the interview was say thank you. I’m thinking about putting this list on my phone which really is more extensive so I can just send it t people who ask me gotcha questions like that about the children who can’t be vaccinated.
I would ask for scientific proof that a healthy unvaccinated child has infected anyone. I would ask them to provide the names and studies that prove what they are saying.
I would look any person in the eye and ask them why should any parent set their child on fire to keep other children from burning.

  5. Speaking of setting your child on fire (which is a great analogy), I often think of the Titanic sinking. What parent would let another person’s child on the rescue boat and not let the own child on? This is common sense in so many ways yet they try to play the “guilt card” on you like you’re a bad person if you don’t protect all the other children!

  6. why would i use a medical procedure which has 1. never worked. 2. injured and killed people thru out its history?

      1. No vaccine has ever once prevented a single disease.

We only believe they have because most doctors simply refuse to diagnose or test for the disease if the patient is vaccinated (and stricter diagnostic criteria).

Indeed, there is no such thing as immunity because viruses do not infect us on an acute basis (viruses are not “fought off” so our “immune system” never learns such a thing (this applies to natural immunity as well as vaccine derived immunity by the way)).

Luckily, viruses do not and cannot cause disease. The laws of mathematics do not allow for a self replicating pathogen because there are no negative feedbacks (an “immune system” is a positive feedback).

  7. “But here’s the rub: the reporter ignored the fact that her own daughter is in the population that people think they are protecting.”

I have time and time again wondered about this disconnect, and I think at its root is vaccine injury denial. There is no denial of cancer treatment or susceptibility of infants to disease or anaphylaxis, so these are considered to be valid reasons for not vaccinating. But people who say their children are vaccine-injured or who wish to protect their children from vaccine injury are thought to be “making it up” and “free-riding.” Never mind the right to informed consent; the moral high ground is to demand that these children be vaccinated and to castigate and segregate the unmedicated. The clean are “dirty,” the unjust are “righteous.” It’s a powerful reversal, and it must be dismembered and dispelled.

    1. It stems 100% from the fear of contagious disease. The greatest (and most irrational) fear ever known.

All you (we) have to do destroy it though is to consistently point out that doctor offices are, and have always been, filled with sick people germs. Do that with enough people and the entire house of cards would crash very quickly (a year at most and it would never return). But for some reason, most anti-vaxers are too petrified to challenge the belief in contagious diseases.
