FOR MOST of my adult life, I have been cause-oriented. I instinctively lend support and have empathy for the underdog. Give me an underdog with a cause, you have my interest.
Give me 16,600 kids in Africa who have lost one or both parents to Ebola, you have my devotion.
I feel fortunate to be in position to try to help.
On Sept 1, 9 performers and 3 bands have answered my call to play music at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA from 6pm-11ish. There will be a $5 at the door donation, and a simultaneous CrowdRise online fundraising event. Our goal is a modest $16,600. All funds raised at this event will go to UNICEF.
